La importancia de reconocer al otro

¿Te has preguntado alguna vez que harías si no pasará el señor de la basura a tu casa, el personal de limpieza no barriera la calle y la señora de los tamales o chilaquiles no pusiera su puesto?
Probablemente, te estarías preocupando por llevar las bolsas de basura al contenedor más cercano, lo cual te quitaría mucho tiempo; si caminarás por una calle con basura, tal vez no pase nada, pero te sentirías molesto con la suciedad del entorno y si no se pone la señora de los tamales, alguno que otro se quedaría sin desayunar.
Generalmente, caminamos junto a ellos y no apreciamos la relevancia de sus actividades.
En lo personal, yo reconozco a los campesinos que cada año siembran maíz, y pueda comer uno que otro elote que tanto me gustan e imagino que una persona dentro de un hospital agradece que existan los enfermeros para ayudarle a levantarse de la cama, a revisar su suero o ir al baño cuando así lo necesite. Aquel que haya tenido un dolor de muela, sabe la gran relevancia de tener el contacto de un dentista a quien recurrir cuando se presenta esta situación.
Por otro lado, el plomero nos ayuda a instalar el boiler o a destapar la cañería; el cerrajero nos auxilia cuando perdimos las llaves de la casa o auto y los señores del super nos ayudan a guardar nuestra despensa y dormimos tranquilamente en nuestra casa o departamento porque un albañil ayudo a construirlo.
¿Qué haríamos sin el personal de las guarderías?, creo que estaríamos angustiados todo el día por saber cómo están nuestros hijos o ¿qué haríamos sin los maestros?, quienes serían las personas que ayudarán a nuestros hijos a aprender de matemáticas, ciencias naturales, geografía o historia.
Asimismo, están los que nunca vemos pero que trabajan por mundo mejor como son los investigadores, quienes han descubierto el daño a la capa de ozono, los que han creado los marcapasos, las prótesis y los satélites que nos ayudan a mandar mensajes desde nuestro celular o llegar a algún lugar que no conocemos con la ayuda de un GPS. Están los técnicos que operan el sistema de aguas, telefonía o internet y no le damos importancia de su existencia hasta que nos quedamos sin servicio. También están los doctores, que salvan miles de vidas, ayudan a los niños a venir a este mundo y se pasan horas operando a alguien que tuvo un derrame cerebral o un accidente.
Además, están las personas que hacen más feliz nuestra existencia al componer canciones, amenizar una fiesta, ponerse un disfraz para trabajar como mago y los que hacen helados.
Igualmente, el personal de un salón de belleza logra hacernos sentir mejor con nosotros mismos, el psicólogo nos ayuda a aclarar nuestra mente y el taxista o el chofer del camión hace que lleguemos a nuestro destino. Asimismo, el dueño de la tiendita de la esquina se para temprano todos los días, para que tengamos fruta o verdura cuando así lo necesitemos.
Por lo que, hay que agradecer que están este tipo de personas en nuestras vidas, ya que nos ayudan a tener una casa más limpia, tener comida en nuestra mesa, agua potable que beber, para bañarnos o lavar los trastes, nos enseñaron a leer, a sumar o restar y nos protegieron al ponernos nuestras vacunas o limpiar nuestras heridas cuando éramos niños.
Por lo que, si miras a tu alrededor encontrarás gente valiosa y hay que reconocerlo.
